

Louis “Louie” T. Gonzales, 50, of Scottsbluff went to be with his Lord and Savior on July 11, 2012 at the Northern Colorado Long Term Acute Hospital, in Loveland, CO. Funeral services will be held 2:00 p.m., Monday, July 16, 2012 at Dugan-Kramer Funeral Chapel with Pastor Raul Martinez officiating. Burial will follow at Fairview Cemetery in Scottsbluff. Friend may visit Sunday, June 15 from 1:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. at Dugan-Kramer Funeral Chapel. Memorials may be made to be made in care of the family. Louie was born in Scottsbluff, March 7, 1962 to Eva (Castro) Dominguez and Cenovio (Andre) Gonzales of Bayard. He received his education in Scottsbluff and remained in the area. Louie’s passion in life was he loved to cook and had a green thumb in gardening. He collected tigers, was an Oakland Raiders fan, and loved to watch movies. Louie leaves behind his beloved pets Bandit, Smokey and Princess. Louie is survived by his mother, Eva of Colorado; father, Cenovio of Bayard; brothers, Mark (Julia) Gonzales of Omaha, Anthony Gonzales of Alliance, and Danny Gonzales of Scottsbluff; sisters, Ruby Gonzales, Teresa (Sam)Garcia, and Ami Torres all of Scottsbluff; step-brothers Louis Guiterrez of South Dakota, Senovia Gonzales Jr. of Colorado, and Nathan Gonzales of Bayard; step-sisters, Irene Gonzales, Mary Ann Guiterrez both of Colorado, Elizabeth Gonzales, Olivia Calihua, and Veronica Gonzales of Bayard; Aunts, Loida Gonzales, Lily Voss, and Josie Odija all of Scottsbluff; cousins, Jessie Deollis of Colorado, and Angie Monlina; numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews; special friends Jack and Warren of Colorado and Michelle of Omaha. Louie was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents , LuisCastro and Trinidad Martinez; paternal grandparents Catrino and Tanis Gonzales; step-father, Mario Dominguez; Uncle Reuben Castro; brother-in-law, Joe Ozuna; sister-in-law, Laurie Gonzales; nephews, Christian Torres and Arthur C. Gonzales; and special friend, Erenie of Colorado. Louie will be greatly missed by those who knew and loved him. He was an extremely loving and caring person. The world has lost one angel and heaven has gained another.
