Lyle S Thompson

Lyle was born on January 30, 1937 in Gering, Nebraska to Howard and Ruth (Robinson) Thompson. He received his early education in Gering schools, graduating from Morrill High School. Lyle attended Gulf Cost Bible College and Wesley Biblical Seminary College and graduated in 2003.

He was united in marriage to Helen Earline Germany on June 21, 1959 in Scottsbluff, Nebraska and made their home in Morrill, Nebraska.

He was a member of the Church of God. In his last several years of life, Lyle had the opportunity to minister those around him.

Lyle enjoyed woodworking, gardening and football, but especially loved his family.

Survivors include his wife, Helen Earline Thompson; daughters Debbie (Chip) Findley and Wanda (Doug) Richardson; son William (Jan) Thompson; 10 grandchildren; 11 great grandchildren; 4 great great grandchildren and brother Jerry (Lori) Thompson.

He was preceded in death by his parents Howard and Ruth Thompson and 6 infant siblings.
