Mary Isabel Valenciano 71 of Chandler, Arizona passed away Wednesday, November 30, 2022 at Regional West Medical Center in Scottsbluff.
Her memorial service will be held on Saturday, December 3, 2022 at 3:00 pm at Dugan Kramer Funeral Chapel with Pastor Joe Petersen officiating. Cremation will follow. She was born on February 11, 1951 in Phoenix, Arizona to Manuel and Aurora (Luna) Ortiz. She received her early education in the Chandler public schools, graduating from Chandler High School and attended Pima Medical Institute College, graduating in 1987.
She married Ramon Valenciano on November 14, 1970 in Chandler, Arizona and made their home in Casa Grande, Arizona, retiring in Minatare, Nebraska in 2020 to be closer to their children.
Mary enjoyed sewing, sightseeing, spending time with her family and caring for her pets Ellie, Billy and Baby. She also enjoyed attending church services and singing in the church choir. Her favorite teams of course, were the Arizona Cardinals, Diamond Backs and the Phoenix Suns.
Survivors include her loving husband Ramon; her daughters Rachel (Ruben) Garcia and Julia (Brandon) Roy; grandchildren Desiree (Beau) Dawson, Andrew Roy, Dakota (Kalvin) Ripplinger, Matthew Roy, Samuel Roy and Julian Gonzales and great granddaughter Reyna Grace Dawson.
She was preceded in death by her parents Manuel and Aurora Ortiz, brothers and sisters, other family members and her beloved basset hound Paco.
Mary will be dearly missed by her family and all who knew her.
