Merlin Howard Moore, Jr, of Bayard, NE passed peacefully on the morning of January 3, 2022, in the arms of his beloved “Baby” Sandra Kay Moore at the age of 72. Merlin lived a full and exciting life. He was a chivalrous, honorable man loved by many.
In his younger days, he managed rock and roll bands, owned his own sound company “Megasound,” and also owned a concert hall. He liked to race motorcycles and cars and had his own Megasound dragster. Merlin enjoyed hunting and collected guns. He was fascinated with his gems and stones. He loved making beautiful jewelry.
Merlin was preceded in death by his parents and grandparents.
He is survived by his wife Sandra Moore, siblings Gary Moore and Cathy Lucke; sons Merlin Moore III (Jo Lynn) and Michael Moore (Alicia) all of Texas; step-children Lisa Morlock (Michael), Daniel Warfield (Anna), and Melonie Warfield all of Nebraska; as well as many grandchildren.
Merlin will be greatly missed by many, forever in our hearts.
