Mildred Woods

Mildred Woods, 95, of Scottsbluff, was called home to be with her Lord and Savior, Wednesday, July 18, 2012. Her funeral service will be held at 10:00 a.m., Monday, July 23, 2012, at New Beginnings Church of the Nazarene in Scottsbluff with Pastor Darryl Potts officiating. Inurnment will be at Wallaceton, Pennsylvania. Friends may visit from 1:00 to 6:00 p.m., Sunday, at Dugan-Kramer Funeral Chapel in Scottsbluff. Memorials may be made to the New Beginnings Church of the Nazarene or Prairie Haven Hospice in lieu of flowers. Mildred was born March 22, 1917, at Anston, Pennsylvania, to Harvey and Grace Klinger. She was married to Earl “Boots” Woods, December 12, 1933. Survivors include her daughters, Carol (James) Lombard of Cadyville, New York and Shirley (Ronald) Wooden of Scottsbluff; granddaughters, Pam Gibb of Scottsbluff and Rhonda (Bobbie) Trojan of Fairbanks, Alaska; grandsons, Matthew Lombard of Roanoke, Virginia and Andrew (Michelle) Lombard of San Diego, California; six great-grandchildren; and four great-great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, parents, step-father, granddaughter, two sisters, and five brothers.
