Her funeral service will be held on Wednesday, December 7, 2016 at 10:30 a.m. at Dugan Kramer Funeral Chapel with Pastor Dale Brown officiating. Interment will follow at Fairview Cemetery. Shelly was born on March 17, 1979 in Omaha, Nebraska to Richard Olinger, Jr. and Jean D. Dickey. She graduated from Morrill High School in 1997. She married Jim M. Edwards on July 1, 2006 in Scottsbluff, Nebraska and made their home in Scottsbluff, later moving to Cheyenne.

She was very active in 4-H when she was younger. She enjoyed working at the Air Force Base. Shelly enjoyed shopping, dressing up and was proud of her appearance. She loved her shelties. She loved and cherished her family and friends. She always wanted to please people even if she didn’t get in return.

Shelly is survived by her husband Jim Edwards, daughters Alexus and Allyssa; mother Jean Olinger, sister Leisa (John) Gonzales; brother Richard Olinger III, brother Bryan Olinger and numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews.

Shelly is preceded in death by her father Richard Olinger, grandparents Mr. and Mrs. Richard Olinger, Sr. and grandparents John and Jeanette Dickey, aunt Pauline Dickey and her daughter Alayna Edwards.
