Mr. Ashley Paul Jarvis

Ashley Paul Jarvis passed away at his home in Seagoville, Texas on January 19, 2016. He was born in Dallas, Texas on February 5, 1940 to Ashley P. Jarvis and Myrtice May (McDaniel) Jarvis. He is preceded in death by his parents and his loving wife Wanda. Left with cherished memories is his daughter Tina Rheinlander; grandson Cody Rheinlander; great granddaughter Lexey Kay Rheinlander; step son Dave Hiser and brother John Jarvis. Paul attended grade school in Minden Louisiana until his family moved away to make their home near the Texas-Oklahoma border. Paul graduated from Hugo High, Hugo, Oklahoma. After faithfully serving his country in The United States Army, Paul met and married Wanda Pearl Nelson. The couple made their home in Combine, Texas and he worked as a plating technician for a metal plating company in Dallas. Wanda passed away in 1991 and Paul moved Arthur City, Texas in 1995. Paul enjoyed fishing, fixing and repairing motorcycles and watching motorcycle races. He also enjoyed listening to old country music. The family will receive friends at a visitation 6-8pm Thursday January 21, 2016 at Roselawn Funeral Home, Seagoville, Texas. Funeral Service will be 10:00 Friday January 22, 2016 at Roselawn Funeral Home, Seagoville, Texas. Interment will follow at Roselawn Memorial Gardens, Seagoville, Texas where Paul will be laid to rest beside his wife in the Garden of Memories. Brother Al Taylor will officiate.
