

Born on February 25, 1945, in Dallas, Texas, to Aubrey and Irene Welch, Carolyn grew up in South Dallas and graduated from Seagoville High School in 1963. Shortly after, she began her family, devoting herself to raising her three sons and embracing the role of a loving mother and homemaker. As her children grew older, she embarked on a professional career in banking.
In 1986, Carolyn married the love of her life, Michael Turner. Through him, she was introduced to the real estate industry and later built a successful career as a mortgage lender.
Carolyn was a devoted member of Rylie Church of Christ. She had a creative spirit, was an avid painter, and enjoyed spending time playing dominos and 42 with friends and family.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Aubrey and Irene “Mutt” Welch; her beloved husband, Michael Turner; and her sister, Dorothy “Dot” Beck.
Carolyn is survived by her sons: Randal “Randy” Dewayne Floyd, Jeffery Kevin Floyd, and Micheal Christopher Floyd and his wife, Mary. She also leaves behind eight grandchildren, eight great-grandchildren, her brothers Aubrey Gene Welch and Ricky Joe Welch, and numerous nieces, nephews, extended family members, and cherished friends.
