He is preceded in death by his parents, sisters, Lorraine Pryor, Lila Witherspoon and Nanny Ruth Meeks; brothers, John Moore and Billy Wayne Moore.
He is survived by his loving wife of 56 years, Linda Moore; children: Dennis Moore, Annette Hardy and husband, John and Clarence Moore, Jr; 6 grandchildren: Jessica Jacobs, Rebecca Moore, Ashley Restrepo, Jordan Clark, Justin Hardy and Christina Moore and 9 great grandchildren.
Clarence was the owner of CH Moore Construction where he worked for over 25 years. He was very knowledgeable and a good businessman to only have gone to the 6th grade. Hoot enjoyed spending time with his family playing games, fishing and traveling as well. Hoot was a giving man and helped his family, friends and even strangers along his way. Above all he loved the Lord.
