

Donald spent 48 years working in the natural gas industry with Atmos Energy, formerly TXU and Lone Star Gas. He was a dedicated and hardworking man who took pride in his work.
He had a deep love for the outdoors and could often be found hunting, fishing, or ATV riding. Donald was known for his playful spirit and was a true jokester who loved to tease those around him, bringing laughter to family and friends.
He shared nearly 18 years with his beloved companion, Julie Taylor, building a life filled with love, laughter, and partnership.
He was preceded in death by his parents, George and Frances Sanders, and his brother, Randall Sanders.
Donald is survived by his significant other, Julie Taylor; his son, James Sanders and wife, Lupe, of Benton, Arkansas; his grandchildren, Emily and Kyle; his sister, Brenda Carroll of Frisco, Texas; his nephew, Keith; his nieces, Christie, Stephanie, and Rachelle; as well as many beloved friends and extended family members.
Donald’s wishes were to be cremated. The family has chosen to honor his wishes and will hold an informal gathering at a later date.
He will be deeply missed and fondly remembered by all who knew and loved him.
