Erica Christine Escobedo

She will always be remembered as a beautiful daughter, niece, cousin, friend and confidant to all that knew and loved her. She was born on December 9, 1977 in Dallas, Tx to Phyllis Gale McLaughlin Davis and Thomas Franklin Davis Jr.

Erica was passionate about her animals, crafting, nature, her friends, but most of all her family. Erica loved her family with all her heart. She enjoyed crafting and creating things with her hands. She could take nothing and create something beautiful. Anything from clay to jewelry, Erica could make it beautiful. Her smile could light up a room and she never had a harsh word for anyone. Erica could listen to your problems and never form judgement, she was truly a beautiful person.

She enjoyed traveling with her husband during there short time together. She and John visited Mexico shortly before he passed and she was at her happiest just to see the culture and colors of the country. Erica will be missed by everyone that passed through her life.

Erica is survived by her mother Phyllis McLaughlin Davis and her father Thomas Davis Jr. of Balch Springs, Texas. Several Aunts, Uncles, and Cousins.

She was preceded in death by her husband Juan A. Escobedo, Grandparents Dorothy and Thomas Davis Sr., Alex McLaughlin and Alberta Jones.

The visitation will be held from 4 – 8 o’clock p.m. on Friday September 24th at the funeral home. The Funeral Service will be held at 10am on Saturday September 25th at Roselawn Funeral Home Chapel. Interment will follow in Roselawn Memorial Gardens.
