Francis and I had lost contact with each other over the years. He was a fine man and a good comrade. I stumbled onto this by chance. May he rest in peace.

Francis and I met at work and became friends. It was so ironic that we both retired at the same time. Francis always displayed an upbeat attitude, and believed in fairness and equality for everyone. He was not a fake person. My condolence to the Fagan Family and may God be with you in your time of grief.

I met Francis through Karaoke at the VFW Post 5076 and he was always such a sweet person and always had a smile and a hug to make you feel right at home.  I am so very sorry for your loss of this sweet man.

I am so sorry to hear of your passing Francis. You and my brother Conrad became great friends and you were there when he passed away in January of last year. You two were planning a trip to Palo Duro Canyon in June and you made a promise to Conrad moments before he died that you two were still going to make that trip. You were so kind to keep that promise and even made that trip on his birthday. His remains were spread around that beautiful area which is what Conrad truly wanted.  It would not have been possible without you and for that I will always be grateful. I'm just sorry I didn't get another chance to tell you what that meant to me and my family. May God rest your soul and bless your family. And Conrad now has a good with him friend in heaven.

Our condolences to the Fagan family. Francis has a very special place in our heart and the world has lost a great person.  I fondly remember the times spent with him in our backyard and his side yard. The cigar we proudly smoked at the birth of Jonathon, and the sparkle in his eyes when he spoke of his family. Josh even as a grown man still talks about the WWII reenactment that he did with Francis in Paris Texas years ago. Esther our thoughts are with you and your family and if you need us just call.

Aawwww Francis.. it was soooo sad to hear of your passing.. you were one of the first people that made me feel comfortable at the VFW # 5076.  You were always sooo nice & complimenting to me.. you will be missed on karaoke nights.  We will miss you & you will forever be in our thoughts.. God called another Angel to heaven.. * wont be able to make it to your services but we will see you soon with flowers*

Francis there's so many wonderful things I could say about you but the one that stands out the most is your heart. You had the biggest heart and always kind to others.  You were definately a role model!! I love you and I will miss you Spec 4!!

Frances, what a joy you brought to our lives!  You loved our Ladies Auxiliary and always bought a ticket on things we raffled, or made a donation.  It was fun working the Labor Day activities with you in City Park.  You never met a stranger!  I remember how excited you got when I introduced you to the Mayor.  There are a lot of memories, but most of all I will miss your hugs!  We love you!  God bless your family!

Thank you Francis for taking me to the V.A Hospital and telling me which people to talk to and get my benifits taken care of. I  should hear from them by the end of July  because of your help. I'll miss your words of incouragement and understanding
