

Born on September 4, 1963 in Denison, Texas to Harold Dean Brookshire Sr. and Betty McCrary. He was a devoted husband to Mary and a loving father to Brittney and Aisha.
Dean was hard-working and dedicated. He spent years working as a motorcycle mechanic, as well as many years at the State Fair of Texas and for a period of time he had his own lawn company. Despite his many responsibilities, he always made time for his family and his passions.
Dean’s hobbies and interests helped define who he was. He enjoyed the outdoors, often spending his weekends fishing or hunting. His love for the outdoors was something he enjoyed to share with his grandchildren. He would spend most days in the backyard watching the kids roam around.
He was a man of integrity, kindness, and generosity and he left a lasting impact on everyone who knew him.
He is preceded in death by his dad Harold Dean Brookshire Sr., his sister Teresa Ann Adcock and his grandson Caleb Dean Haupt.
Dean is survived by his wife Mary Brookshire, his daughter Aisha Haupt and husband Charlie Haupt, his daughter Brittney Atteberry and husband Adam Atteberry, as well as his grandchildren Avery Smith, Maci-Leigh, Wyatt and Ella Atteberry.
