Mrs. Johnnye Brewer

Johnnye Mildred Brewer was called home to be with her Lord and Savior Sunday March 29th, 2020. Johnnye was born in Kemp, Texas to Mary Lucille Collier and John Russell Hammack on November 05, 1926. She was an incredibly loving, funny and kind woman who lived her life to serve God and her family. She was a wonderful friend, sister, mother and grandmother.

Johnnye Mildred was married to the absolute love of her life Winifred Dale Brewer for 64 years. She was a home maker who took great care of her family. In her younger years she was known to play pranks on her siblings and was also voted Miss Kemp Texas. She enjoyed cooking, shopping and listening to Jimmy Swaggart sing and preach.

She is preceded in death by her parents and brothers: Wayman Earl Hammack (Buddy), Hillary Russell Hammack, and Willam Davis Hammack, Sisters: Patty Jean Baker and Nancy Diane Wilson, Husband Winifred Dale Brewer and Daughter Mary Lynette James. Left with cherished memories are her son Jimmy Brewer, grandchildren Jason Brewer, Joshua Brewer, Kinney James, Brandon Brewer, Brittany Brewer, and Darren James, great grandchildren Joshua Brewer Jr., April Sanders, Landyn Brewer, Brooklyn Sanders, Kinsley Brewer, Adrian Sanders, Shiloh James, Jackson Brewer, Aiden James and numerous nieces, nephews and other family members.

The family will receive friends at a visitation 4-8pm Friday April 10, 2020 at Roselawn Funeral Home Seagoville, Texas. Funeral service will be 2:00 pm Saturday April 11, 2020 at Roselawn Funeral Home Seagoville, Texas. Interment will follow at Roselawn Memorial Gardens Seagoville, Texas. Pastor Todd Peavy officiating.
