Jose Nieves Estrada Trujillo

Jose Nieves Estrada Trujillo, of Scurry Texas, passed away on Thursday, June 2, 2022 in Rowlett, Texas. He was born on August 26, 1946 in San Felipe, Guanajuato Mexico to Maria Cleofas Trujillo and Secundino Estrada Agunaga.

Jose Nieves Estrada was a loving, hardworking, and compassionate father that did his best in ensuring his family needs were met. He endured poverty as a youth and made it possible for his children not to share the same fate. His children and family were constantly on his mind and always looked for ways to better their lives. He will always be remembered as a loving father to all that knew and loved him.

Jose Nieves Estrada is survived by his children Sonia M. Estrada, Jose N. Estrada, Maria G. Nava, Charles D. Estrada, Albert Estrada, Marisela Torres, and Cassandra Estrada. He was preceded in death by parents Maria Cleofas Trujillo and Secundino Estrada Agunaga and siblings Maria Luz Estrada de Ortiz, Mariano Estrada, Ernesto Estrada, and Pedro Estrada.

The visitation will be held Tuesday, June 7, 2022 from 5:00 – 8:00 p.m. at the Roselawn Funeral Home. The Funeral Service will be held Wednesday, June 8, 2022 at 10:00 a.m. at the Roselawn Funeral Home Chapel. Interment will follow in the Roselawn Memorial Gardens.
