Joyce Marie Dunlap

Joyce Marie Dunlap passed away on February 11th, 2026, in Kemp, Texas. She will always be remembered as a loving mother, grandmother, and wife to all that knew and loved her. She was born on January 15, 1954, in Dallas, Texas, to Edmond and Ernestine McCrary.

Joyce was an avid gamer and collector of all things owls. She had a massive movie collection that would put an early 2000’s blockbuster to shame.

Joyce is survived by her husband Dwayne Dunlap; her children, Mike and Wendy of Kemp, Texas and Steven Dunlap of Dallas, Texas; her grandchildren, Nathan and Sarah of Fort Worth, Texas, Sabrina and Jonathan of Georgia, Mike and Shayla of Kaufman, Texas, Gage of Kemp, Texas, Alyssa and Mikey Guard of Eustace, Texas, and Bobbi and Jon Knapp of Eustace, Texas; she also leaves behind 11 great-grandchildren to cherish her memory.

She was preceded in death by her son, Bobby Dunlap; her parents, Edmond McCrary and Ernestine Malone; her brother, Bob McCrary; and her sister, Janet.

The visitation will be held from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. on Wednesday, February 18th, at Roselawn Funeral Home in Seagoville, Texas. The Celebration of Life will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Thursday, February 19th, at the same location, followed by a Committal Service at Roselawn Memorial Gardens.
