

She was born on January 20, 1948 to William Franklin and Lillian LaVerne (Hitt) Rucks in Kaufman, TX.
Preceding her in death are her parents and husband Everett Lee Watson.
Those left to cherish her memory are her son: William Everett Watson and sisters: Julia Ruth Epperson and husband Garth Lynn and Robbie Gayle Koller and husband David Joseph. Her nieces and nephews: Kimberly Koller, Tracy Beeson and husband Charles, Jared Koller, and Hope McCleskey and multiple great nieces and nephews.
June graduated from Seagoville High School in 1966 and went on to Henderson County Junior College and East Texas State University where she received a Bachelor Degree in Education. She taught Home Economics for 29 years at Miller Grove High School where she served for many years as sponsor for the Annual Staff, Senior Class and FHA. She was active in many charity and fund raising events in the community, both in Miller Grove and Seagoville where she resided after retirement.
Her love for crafts, sewing and photography was often reflected in her quilts and sewing that she did for family and friends. She loved to travel and was always ready to go at a moment’s notice.
The pallbearers are: Brandon Darrow, Paul Epperson, Donald Ford, Jared Koller, Thomas Koller, and Jim Nichols.
Visitation will be Saturday, October 16th from 4:00 to 8:00 pm at Roselawn Funeral Home, Seagoville, TX. Funeral service will be Monday, October 18th at 10:00 am at Roselawn Funeral Home, Seagoville, TX followed by interment at Brashear Cemetery in Brashear, Texas at 3:00 pm where she will be laid to rest beside her husband.
