Kenneth Hazelip

Kenneth Dalh Hazelip, 76, passed away on January 14, 2016 in Dallas, TX. He was born on August 5, 1939 to Kenneth and Johnnie (Wyble) Hazelip in Dallas, TX. Kenneth proudly served his country as a member of the United States Army. He was Chairman of the Deacons at Point View Baptist Church in Combine, TX and supervised the construction of the current sanctuary for the church. Kenneth enjoyed fishing and was very talented in leatherwork. He loved his family and they were his greatest pleasure in life. He always took time for his grandchildren and pulled them around on his tractor as often as possible. He will forever be engraved in their hearts. Preceding him in death are his wife Clara Hazelip, parents Kenneth and Johnnie Hazelip, brothers John Hazelip, Jerry Hazelip, Dale Hazelip and James Hazelip. Those left to cherish his memory are his children: Debra Struck and husband, Johnny, Gary Hazelip and wife, Laura and Larry Hazelip and wife, Christy; grandchildren: Candace, Carson, Hannah, Sarah, Emily and Cymone; sisters Darlene Frankum, Suddie Cockrell & Gale Schilder and many other family members, loved ones and beloved friends that will miss him dearly. Visitation will be 4:00 – 6:00 pm on Sunday, January 17, 2016 at Roselawn Funeral Home in Seagoville, TX. Funeral services will be 11:00 am on Monday, January 18, 2016 at Point View Baptist Church in Combine, TX, followed by interment at Roselawn Memorial Gardens in Seagoville where he will be laid to rest by his wife in the Garden of Valley View.
