Michael N. Coffman Sr., age 76, passed away peacefully in his home in Trinidad, Texas, on Friday, January 30, 2026. Born on January 17, 1950, in DeKalb, Texas, to John Coffman and Billie Springer, Michael lived a life defined by devotion to his family and kindness to his community. He was a dedicated member of Trinity Baptist Church in Trinidad.
He is remembered as a loving husband, father, brother, and a steadfast friend to all who had the pleasure of knowing him. Mike worked tirelessly in the plumbing/water heater industry for over 60 years.
Michael’s greatest pride was his family. He is survived by his beloved wife, Karen Coffman of Trinidad, Texas. He is also survived by his children,Michael Coffman Jr.and wife, Tracy, James Coffman and wife Alexis,, and daughter, Caroline Marsh, and husband Chris, along with grandchildren, Jacob Coffman, Landon Halfman, Milo Coffman, Zeke Coffman,Quinn Coffman, Nick Marsh, and Ella Marsh. He is also survived by his brother, Ford Allumbaugh of
Seven Points, TX, and sister, Mary Mendoza of Cypress, TX.
He is preceded in death by his mother, and sisters - Jan Hall and Dorothy Bentley.
