

He will always be remembered as a loving dad, Pops and friend to all that knew and loved him. He was born on September 7,1931 in Dallas, Texas to Hugh Everett & Bernice Anita Vineyard Woodward.
Bob owned and operated a construction company – "The Woodward Company", that his father had started in 1963 along with a sand and gravel company "All Materials Inc". Bob and Norma lived their lives for their children- Hauling horses all over the country with organizations such as: Lone Star High School Rodeo Association, National Highschool Rodeo Association, Texas Junior High School Rodeo Association, Appaloosa Horse Show Association, American Quarter Horse Association, American Paint Horse Association, Region 4 High School Rodeo Association, Crandall Rodeo Team & College Rodeo's
Bob is survived by his daughter, Lori Woodward Newton of Combine, TX; son, Alan Woodward of Dallas, TX and daughter, Lisa Woodward of NM; Grandchildren, Stephanie Newton, Kati & Anthony Rivera, David & Jessica Newton, Clay Woodward, Haley Woodward, Robert Cody & Michael Cody and his Great Grandchildren, Bryndon, Landon, Ryan, Violet, Cora, Jaxx, Evan, Peyton & Gage.
He was preceded in death by his loving wife Norma Jean of 67 year's, his parents Hugh & Bernice Woodward and his son John David Newton.
A visitation for Bob will be held Monday, November 8, 2021 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Roselawn Funeral Home, 1000 South Highway 175, Seagoville, Texas. A funeral service will occur Tuesday, November 9, 2021 at 10:00 AM, 1000 South Highway 175, Seagoville, Texas. A committal service will occur Tuesday, November 9, 2021 at 11:00 PM at Roselawn Memorial Gardens, 1000 South Highway 175, Seagoville, Texas.
