Roy Gene Brown age 82 of Dallas went to be with the Lord July 13, 2016 at his home in Dallas. He was born October 1, 1933 in Italy, TX to Frank & Juanice (Reeves) Brown. Roy loved his family, fishing, golfing, traveling, especially trips to Alaska and Colorado, and cooking. Roy was a great cook. He retired from Master Video Systems in Dallas after 50 plus years. He met the love of his wife, Mary Grigar, in 1988 and they married February 14, 1997. He was a member of St. Marks United Methodist Church in Mesquite. Roy proudly served his country by serving in the Army from 1954 to 1956.
Roy was preceded in death by his parents Frank & Juanice Brown.
He leaves behind to cherish his memory; his loving wife, Mary Grigar; six children; Joy Allen, Janna Huff, Roy Scott Brown, Betsy Cook & husband Chris, James Grigar & wife Leslie and Sean Grigar; ten grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren; sister Jeanette Harris & husband W.O. and brother Arthur Brown & wife Dorothy.
