Terri Ann Spurgeon

Terri Ann Spurgeon-Espy (53) of Scurry, Texas passed away in Dallas, Texas on February 15, 2016. She was born December 19, 1962 in Dallas, Texas to Marvin Wilkins Sr. and Ethel Marie (Richardson) Wilkins. She is preceded in death by her parents; her brother Michael Wilkins and her nephew Marvin Wilkins III. Terri was a loving and wonderful wife, mother, grandmother, sister and aunt. She adored her family and treasured her time spent with them. She loved being at home cooking and decorating and enjoying the comforts of her home. When she wasn’t at home, Terri loved to go shopping for items to decorate her home. Terri’s life was all about caring for her family and her home. Left with cherished memories is her loving and devoted husband of 32 years, Floyd (Slim) Espy; her daughter Andrea Bailey & husband Raymond; daughter Lilly Espy; daughter Julie Espy; mother-in-law Beatrice Espy; grandson J.D. Espy; brother Marvin Wilkins Jr. & wife Cathy; sister Gloria Vaughan & husband Billy; sister Pat Moya & husband Benny and numerous nieces, nephews and other family loved ones and beloved friends. The family will receive friends at a visitation 6-8pm Wednesday February 17, 2016 at Roselawn Funeral Home, Seagoville, Texas. Funeral Service will be 10:00am Thursday February 18, 2016 at Roselawn Funeral Home, Seagoville. Interment will follow in Roselawn Memorial Park, Seagoville, where Terri will be laid to rest in the Garden of Scriptures. Pastor Todd Peavy will officiate.
