Sister Iola Geddie was born August 15, 1932 in Fayetteville, North Carolina. She later moved to New York City and met and married Bennie Wiley on December 17, 1961. In 1964 they adopted Michelle Wiley to make their family complete.
After her husband, Bennie Wiley, retired from the US Army, they moved to Seaside, California and made it their home.
Sister Wiley worked at the Doubletree Hotel for the next 11 years as a hospitality worker. In 2000, Sister Wiley suffered a stroke and became homebound. Over the years her health began to decline and she was bedridden, her daughter, Michelle took excellent care of her and was also assisted by her loving husband. Then on the 25th of April of 2014, the Lord came and took one of His chosen children home to rest.
She had two siblings, Louise Weens, her sister, and Johnny Mac Geddie, her brother, who preceded her in death.
