

Leonides Fernazo Andalio, 81 - fondly known to many as 'Ned', a retired nutrition services staff member from Community Hospital of Monterey Peninsula, died May 21, 2016. He was born April 22, 1935 in the Philippines and lived in Seaside, CA for 30 years. He worked for CHOMP for 24 years. He was a member of Saint Francis Xavier Catholic Church, where he volunteered for its Food Bank and was an active member of the Mother of Perpetual Help prayer group and Hospitality Servers. He was a true advocate of the recycling program of the city of Seaside. Best of it all, he enjoyed spending time with his family and loved to baby sit his daughter's pet chihuahuas, Jag and Korey.
Ned is survived by his wife of 53 years Reme Andalio of Seaside; daughter MariJo (spouse Jen) Andalio-Angeles with granddaughter Ashley Grace Leith of Seaside; son Ray (spouse DeEdra) Andalio with sons Sydney and Rayven of San Diego, Ca; grandson Daniel Cubangay of Manila, Philippines; brother Manuel and sister Ceny of the Philippines; and numerous nieces and nephews.
He is preceded in death by his daughter MaCris Cubangay and son-in-law Dante, brothers Doring, Patricio, and his parents Dominga and Leon.
