Anne passed away early Tuesday morning June 8 with family by her side.
Anne was the foundation, the heart of our family. It was her guidance, encouragement, direction, wisdom and dedication that brought two families together to make one, helping us all develop into the people, and the family, that we have become. Always supportive and comforting, but she would not hesitate to challenge you to do the right thing by being the best person that you could be. You could always count on her being there when you needed support or guidance. She was our guiding light.
Anne was truly the best of all of us: opinionated but kind, outgoing but introspective, loud but gentle. Her greatest gift was to make it so that we were never in doubt of how much she loved each and every one of us, both individually and as a family unit. She took great joy in looking after everyone she loved and was so good at it. She took so much joy in the smallest of things and made every occasion something to remember.
She had an impact on everyone in her life through being the most selfless, genuine, giving and compassionate person, one you could always count on, never needing anything in return.
Anne is survived by her husband and life partner of 36 years, three children, Kyle, Jennifer, Lindsay, their spouses Mika, Craig and Justin and was Nana to five Grandchildren Faith, Isaac, Josiah, Jeffrey and Summer.
She will always be in our hearts and thoughts, guiding us, comforting us and loving us and will never be forgotten. We are so grateful that, though we are heartbroken at losing her too soon, we are all full of the happy memories she worked so hard to create for us.
We can never completely express our love and appreciation for the far-too-brief time we got to have her in our lives.
God Bless her until we are together again.
