Rosemary,  Thank you for letting me know.  I truly enjoyed Arthur.  I will miss him.

I am so sorry to hear of Arthur's passing...I have great memories of his fun and helpful spirit at View Ridge Swim Club.  My condolences to Rosemary, Becky and Robin.

On behalf of all of Arthur's coworkers at Shuttle let me express our condolences, as well as the loss we're feeling also.  Arthur was always a ray of sunshine around here -- something we all needed at 3 or 4 in the morning.  I'm sure with his sense of humor and caring attutude he spread that light to everyone he touched.

I can't tell you how much we are going to miss him, or how lucky we were to have known him.  Arthur will always be remembered in our prayers and memories.

Rosemary, I was so saddened to hear about Arthur.  I worked with him a bit in Burma and very much enjoyed the time we spent together.  He will be missed.

I enjoyed knowing Arthur and will miss hearing his jibes, and jokes and general comments. I considered him a good and cherished friend, and will miss him.

To you the family.  Having known Arthur as my neighbor X2since the age of 10, I can honestly say "Art was loved and appreciated" by all of my family and by all of my friends that constantly pestered his last nerve about everything and anything.  He was a great friend and a true joy to have known and to have had the good fortune of having past countless good times together.  Perhaps my dearest memory is how we shared a hatred for doing yardwork on saturdays and sundays.  And all on the block knew it.  Love you all!

Dear Rosemary, Rebecca and Robin,

Although we had the pleasure of knowing your husband and father for a short time, we thoroughly enjoyed him - his wonderful personality, his sharp wit and his kindness.

For example, one day while building our new driveway, I decided to take on the job of assembling and installing the drain pipes myself which turned out to be too difficult for one person to handle.  Arthur observed my distressed situation and, without hesitation, he came over and provided both humor and assistance. This was truly a random act of kindness that I will always remember.

It is with great sadness that I read of Arthur's passing. Though I didn't know him well enough, it only took a few brief encounters to know that Arthur was a man who lived life more fully than most. I admired him for that. My thoughts are with you.

With great sorrow, I heard of Arthur's untimely death on 6 march .
Needless to say that is a great loss for all of us.
Arthur will never be forgotten, and he will live in our hearts forever.
This will be a short note to wish you all strength and patience to deal with your great loss.
Arthur has been a good friend of mine ever since I met him a long time ago, in 1979. I shall 
miss him and remember him as long as I live, with
his smiling face and Australian humour.
Arthur was a very exceptional man with many different
life experiences and a zest for life. We all lost a very good friend.

Arthur will be missed by all who knew and loved him for his quick wit and ever-present smile.

Rosemary, Rebecca, and Robin: We are deeply sorry to hear of Arthur's passing and for your loss. I hope that hearing from old friends eases your pain and grief. 

I look back on my time working with your family in 1990-1992, with the fondest of memories. You all immediately made me feel like an extension of your family.  

I remember Arthur as one of the most outgoing, silly, and loving fathers. I respected him for always being direct, opiniated, and expressive. Arthur always seemed to have a grin plastered on his face and was full of humorous, but sarcastic comebacks for me or Becky and Robin. I witnessed his devotion to Rosemary over the years, and it was obvious to me how much he adored his family and loved life. 

We're going to miss him very much. Arthur is unforgettable!
