My husband and our 2 boys lived across the alley from Billy and Diane in our homes near Greenlake for 28 years. His kids and our kids went to the same school and have remained close with their daughter Brittany even after we moved and currently.  Although we didn't socialize much. we were neighbors who visited across our backyards, always friendly and there for each other if we needed it. I remember Billy as always happy and generous to help (which I needed way more than anyone else). His kind and gentle demeanor was evident each and every time we saw each other.  Billy, you are immensely loved and will be forever missed. Until one day we can be neighbors again. With love and respect to you and the family.

Hello, 
Our prayers and thoughts are with your family during this difficult time. I remember the good times growing up with your family in  Magnolia. Our parents were the best of friends. When I was 12 years old , I recall your mom sending me to get the boys , including Billy from the “decoration” room. I think she meant  the recreation room. When I was in my 20’ s your dad told me if I married one of his son’ s he would give me his Cadillac.  My father cleared his throat,  and said “throw in the house and we maybe can talk about it”. Those guys loved each other so much.  And our family loves all of you. We are all hurt by Billy’s passing, I was saddened to get the news of his passing . Remember it gets easier in time.

Ive known Billy for 10 years, as we worked together on the Railroad. His legacy and legend on the Rails is unmatched and will never be touched. We made sure to keep in touch after retirement and always had long talks about Sports and the home life. When my father passed, he made it a point to check in on me and that loving and caring of Billy helped me so much. You are going to be truly missed my friend. My heart goes out to your family. In his final words of every phone call "alright buddy, well take care and we will talk soon". That we will, my friend. 

I have known Billy since we were children growing up in Magnolia together. He loved and was proud of his family so much. I am sorry for the pain of losing him at such a young age. He was very a special person in my life.  My mind is flooded with memories of him, too many to write about. He has and will always be in my heart.
