Bor Sue Chin, 11/24/1931-10/2/2025, of Seattle, Washington, was born in Taishan, Guangdong Province, China, to Wing Lem Chin and Ngan Ying Mark. She graduated from primary school. She went abroad, married Fun Wat Hoy in Hong Kong in 1967, and then came to the United States. She worked as a seamstress but was mostly a homemaker. She also lived in San Francisco, California and San Antonio, Texas. She was baptized at First Chinese Baptist Church of San Antonio, Texas, in 2002. Bor Sue liked to eat at different restaurants. Her husband Fun Wat passed away in 1996 and her brother in 2025. She is survived by her son, Dr. John Hoy, his spouse, 4 siblings, nieces and nephews and their children. The celebration of long life service will be held at Butterworth Funeral Home on 10/10/2025 at 10am. Donations can be given to Dr. Hoy, or the funeral home for the service.
