Rest in peace, dear friend Brian.
I (I was 19 at the time, now I am 64) had the pleasure of 1st meeting Brian in Ballard, Washington during a friendly street drag race on 15th NW southbound, him in his wife's car, a 1971 Dodge Demon 340, me in my 1973 Duster 340. I lost. But I did see him again, days later, at the now gone, Fish Bowl in North Seattle where we conversed and laughed. He told me about the local car scene and how he would someday like to start up a local Chrysler products only (MOPAR) car club someday and would I like to help/join if he could ever get it off the ground. I agreed to help and to let me know. That was about 1976 I believe, a couple of years later Brian, myself and about 15 others help start a Seattle Chapter of Mopar Muscle Club International . A few years after that, we became Mopars Unlimited - Seattle Chapter with a very large membership. Anything to do with Mopar cars was usually spoken with the name "Brian Boyett" attached to the conversation along with Pat Blais and/or Al Young. These were the guys that brought the Mopar club scene to this area of the state. Now, the club has expanded to different chapters throughout, with enjoyment and fellowship enjoyed by many, THANKS to the initial idea Brian Boyett had in the mid 70's. Plus, good Brian taught ME alot about growing up, inter- action with people, good food, organization, life......and how to make my car go faster !! Thank you Brian, I shall miss you, the talks, the handshake AND the warm smile. REST IN PEACE, DEAR SIR. Always, Ray Guardiano, Jr.

AND.....I've got some great car stories !!
