

Caroline Helen Brodniak, age 83, of Seattle, Washington passed away peacefully at her residence on July 20, 2025.
Caroline was born on March 23, 1942 in Longview, Washington. She grew up in Mukilteo and attended Everett High School, graduating in 1960. She graduated from Fort Wright College with a degree in Education and earned a Master's Degree from Eastern Washington University. Caroline had a passion for education and her love of teaching was evident for over 34 years in various roles. She was a proud member of the Delta Kappa Gamma Sorority in Seattle and enjoyed activities with fellow teachers over the years.
Caroline was an active member of St. Matthew Catholic Church in Seattle and sang in the choir there for many years. Caroline was very proud of her heritage and hometown of Mukilteo. Some of her fondest memories included the extended family gatherings with the Losvar's and Fischer's.
Caroline loved spending time with family and friends, including her weekly Starbucks group. She was an avid supporter of Seattle sports teams including the Seahawks, Mariners, and Huskies.
Caroline was preceded in death by her parents Helen & Wallace Brodniak and her special friend Howard. She is survived by her brother Lloyd (Kathy) Brodniak, her nephew Roger (Kristyn) Brodniak, and her niece Amy (Ryan) Godbersen. She was always delighted hearing about her great-nephews Byron, Will, Andy, and Alex, and their various activities.
A Memorial Mass will be held at St. Matthew Catholic Church in Seattle on Thursday, July 31, at 9:00 am, followed by a reception.
