Born on March 12, 1942 in Springfield, OH she spent her early childhood years growing up in Ft. Collins, CO then moved with her family to Seattle at age 13. She was a true wit - her sense of humor was evident in the artwork she created and collected. We remember her as a creative woman who had a wonderful sense of style that permeated all aspects of her life. A great pianist, she loved all kinds of music, enjoyed painting and other artistic endeavors. She lived for a great party and her epic Seafair bashes were unforgettable.
Carolyn is survived by her children, Frederick Ross Parks (Vibeke Parks), Kristan Scheffler Parks (Tony Allen), Katherine Parks and Marianne Parks (Michael Ross), her sister Wendy Lu Sybert McGar (Greg McGar), and four grandchildren, Nikolas Steele Parks, Norah Serine Parks, Fredrik Nicolaysen Parks and Leo Parks Ross.
