
Charles E. Noah was born June 29, 1929 in Bellingham, WA to Creed and Madge Noah. He died peacefully at Northwest Hospital on August 27, 2004 after a long and courageous battle with complications of neuropathy. He was surrounded by his loving family and friends. Chuck grew up on the Cowlitz River and graduated from Centralia High School.
He spent most of his life wearing a hard hat, working different construction sights over the city of Seattle. He retired in 1990 from the Operating Engineers Local 302. Chuck was a strong activist of the 1st Amendment. He will always be remembered for his sense of humor, generosity towards others, loyalty, and his love and pride for his wife and 5 daughters.
Charles was preceded in death by his parents, his brother Creed, sister Kathleen and granddaughter Katie. He is survived by his loving wife June of 55 years, and his great dog Archie; his brother Bill of Cambridge, Idaho; daughters Kathleen Parcels of Honolulu, Midge Peltonen of Seattle, Glenda Martin of Woodinville, Genie Claypoole of Fairbanks and Jolene Bruno of Pateros, 10 grandchildren, 5 son-in-laws, and many nieces and nephews.
The family would like to thank everyone who called, sat with us, prayed for us and now mourn with us. We would also like to thank the Wound Care Center at Northwest Hospital, the wonderful staff at Park Ridge Care Center that took such loving and patient care of him. And finally, the nurses on 5 West, all your generosity is overwhelming to us.
