Passed away on November 22, 2001. Wonderful loving husband of Garnet L. Washburn for 52 years. Father of JoAnn W. Huff and husband, Neil of Sitka, Alaska, Robert C. Washburn and wife, Janet of Seattle, WA. Grandfather of George and Erynn Huff, and Rose and Carly Washburn. Charles served in World War II from 1942 to 1945. His active service was aboard the Battleship USS Missouri. He was an accountant with Ford Motor Company for 41 years. During his retirement he remained active working in his son?s business. He was a member of the Fauntleroy Church UCC and Fauntleroy YMCA. He will be remembered for his beautiful singing voice, his laughter and his zest for life. A memorial service will be held on Wednesday, December 19th at 3 p.m. at the Fauntleroy Church UCC, 9260 California Ave. S.W., Seattle, WA. 98136. Remembrances may be made in his name to the Fauntleroy Church UCC or YMCA Camp Colman, 909 Fourth Ave., Seattle, WA. 98104 or your favorite charity.
