
Dale was born in Seattle August l0, l943. He passed away November 19, 2006. He graduated from Cleveland High School in l96l and the University of Washington in l966. He worked for the U.S. Postal Service as a letter carrier out of the Greenwood Station and Wallingford Station for 20 years and l0 years as a Mail Handler. Dale was a member of the Washington State Letter Carrier?s Band during this time. He was also a member of the U W Husky Alumni Band.
His favorite hobby was photography. He loved taking pictures during practice and game times of the Seattle Hockey Club. Also, he loved taking pictures at the Woodland Park Zoo, especially the gorillas. Dale also played in the hand bell choir at his church.
Dale married Joyce Reberg of Sauk Rapids, MN, in Seattle on June 7th, l969.
Survivors include his wife, Joyce, children Christina Jason Oka, grandson Micah of Tukwila, WA; Dave Horton Jamie, grandchildren Natalie, Ella and Jack of Port Orchard, WA; John Horton Amanda of Little Falls, MN.
Sister Joan Woodbury Lance of Poulsbo, WA, and nephew Tim Boyce and fianc?, Luann, of Kirkland, WA.
Dale was preceded in death by his parents, Paul and Mabel Horton.

8:00 p.m. on Friday, Nov. 24th.
The funeral service will be held at Grace Lutheran Church,
8401 Holly Dr, Everett, 98203, Saturday, Nov. 25th, at 11:00 A.M. with Pastor Dwight Schultz. There will be a reception immediately following the service, with a graveside service at 1:45pm at Abbey View Memorial Park, 3600 Alaska Rd., Brier, WA 98036.
The Horton family would like to thank the staff at Saint Anne?s Nursing and Rehab Center for all the special loving care they provided for Dale in his final 3 years.
