David Lee Peterson was born on November 6, 1959 in Bloomington, Minnesota. He was taken from us in a random act of violence to join the Lord at the age of 54 in Seattle, Washington. He proudly served our country as a Military Police Officer the in the U.S. Army from 1982-1984. He was employed in the Information Technology Security field at Sharp Healthcare in San Diego, California, where he worked for over 20 years then moved to Seattle and continued his computer education. He enjoyed nature, football, comic books, poetry, family and political debate. David had a great sense of humor and was always very respectful of others. He married the love of his life Kimberly D. Pettigrew in 1993.
He is survived by his wife Kimberly, his son Kenneth James Long, his brother Gregory Allen Peterson and his wife Sally, and their children Elizabeth and Hannah and their families and other family relatives.
His family thanks the King County Prosecuting Attorney's Office for their loving support.
