

ArraDr. Diana Tattoni-Rogalski, MD, daughter of Dr. Galdino and Zita Tattoni, was born on the 5th day of August 1938 in the city of Bologna, Italy. Diana passed at the Swedish Hospital on the 22nd day of September 2016 in her 78th year, with her loving husband by her side.
Dr. Tattoni earned her medical degree from the Central University of Venezuela (Caracas) and went to Toronto, Canada to do her pediatric residency at Sick Kids Children's Hospital. She then came to Seattle for fellowship training in pediatric endocrinology at the University of Washington under the tutelage of Dr. Kelly. She was associate professor at Washington University Hospital and went into private practice for more than 40 years in Kirkland, being the elected physician for the Aeritalia families coming to Seattle working for Boeing. The Spanish speaking community especially loved Dr. Tattoni for her empathy, understanding and ability to communicate directly with them. Dr. Tattoni cared for several generations of families who loved her for her dedication and motherly concern for their well-being.
Diana loved gardening, flowers and nature, had a fondness for cats, enjoying Italian operas, classical music, reading and the arts. She was an avid listener and supporter of Classical King FM and participated and supported the Seattle International Film Festival, the Polish and Italian Film Festivals. Diana kept her professional knowledge current by attending medical conferences and taking real pleasure in travelling and experiencing different cultures and foods with her husband Roman.
Diana is survived by her husband, Roman, her mother Zita, 99 years young and her brother Mario (Dianne) and brother-in-law Albert (Ginger), nieces, nephews and grand-nephews.
A service will be held at 4:00 pm on Wednesday, September 28, 2016, at St. Margaret's Catholic Church, 3221 14th Ave W, Seattle, followed by a celebration of life at the Polish Cultural Center (PHA), 1714 18th Ave, Seattle, at 5:00 pm.
In lieu of flowers, to remember Diana you may consider a donation to the Seattle Children's Hospital, the Polish Seattle Foundation, St. Margaret's Catholic Church or any charity of your choice.
