Donald Herbert Hermanson

Donald H. Hermanson of Seattle passed away Feb. 22 2013 after a couragious 10 year fight with leukemia in the Swedish Hospital in Seattle. Donald was born to Herbert and Myrtle Hermanson in McDonald's maternity home in Okanogan Washington, April 9th 1937. He graduated from Okanogan High School in 1955 and went on to the U.of W.graduating in 1959. He spent 3 years in the Army and returned to Seattle. He was an avid fan of the Okanogan Bulldogs and the Washington Huskies and enjoyed watching any sport. Don participated in Cancer walks and helped maintain a large park in the city.

He is survived by his sister, Doris Hermanson Wood; Nephews Dan (Cathy) Wood; Chris (Cindy) Wood; neice Ann (Todd) Featherly and great nephews; Eric (Jenn) Wood, Josh (Christine) Wood, Ryan (Kendra) Wood, Nick Wood, Matt Featherly and Megan (Coleman) Featherly and 4 great nephews.

He was proceded in death by his parents and brother inlaw Louie Wood.
