Daughter of Jacobi and Adriana Tassi, Dora was born in Frontenac, Kansas on October 29, 1915. She married Bruce W. Kinsch on March 31, 1936. They had one child, Bruce, Jr. They relocated to Longbeach, California while Bruce was in the Navy. Upon his discharge in 1938, they moved to Seattle, Washington to be near close friends.
Dora and Bruce settled in the West Seattle area. They enjoyed a life centered on family and friends. Together, they love camping, baseball and trips to the mountains and beaches. Dora worked briefly at McDougall’s Department store, but mostly prided herself as a homemaker, wife and mother.
She was Grandma to Valerie Wagoner, Stephen Kinsch, Michelle Kinsch and Annemarie Kinsch. She and Grandpa enjoyed many outings and celebrations with the grandchildren. They were kind and doting grandparents who especially loved taking the kids on camping trips.
Sadly, she lost Bruce, Sr. in 1991. In her later years, she loved walking the neighborhood, watching baseball, reading, playing cards and doing crosswords. She eventually moved to Daystar Retirement Village in 2005 and enjoyed many years of community outings and fun. She delighted in spending time with her five great grandchildren in her remaining years. She especially enjoyed the long, extended family weekends.
Dora left this world on Christmas Day, December 25, 2019.
Dora was preceded in death by her parents, her brothers; Enrico, Luigi and Jack Tassi and her husband, Bruce, Sr. She is survived by her son, Bruce, Jr (Mary), granddaughters, Valerie Wagoner (Rich), Michelle Kinsch (Michael Brown), Annemarie Kinsch and her grandson, Stephen Kinsch (Alicia Rivera), her great grandchildren, Gabrielle, Paige, Robert, Jason and Griffin.
