Dorothy Mae Olsen

Dorothy Mae Olsen 1923 ~ 2011 Grew up in Eastern Montana, moved to Seattle and met Olaf from Southeastern Alaska at a dance in a ball room and were together ever since, married 6 months later in May 1950. They raised two children together Lloyd and Linda. Dorothy had worked as a civil Federal Employee throughout her working career. First for the Port of Imbarkation, the FAA and retiring in the mid 80's from the EEOC, Dorothy was an animal lover, loved dancing, skiing, swimming and reading. She was always very charitable and kind. Caring for the well being of others. Surviving her is her husband Olaf, son Lloyd Olsen with his sons Benn Olsen and Eric Olsen, daughter Linda Koos and her husband Steve Koos, and sons Christopher Koos and Mathew Koos. Dorothy had a brother now deceased John Finkbeiner with surviving children Bill Finkbeiner with a son Christian Finkbeiner and daughter Rachel Finkbeiner; and John's other son Bob Finkbeiner and John's daughter Amanda Hutchson, her husband Scott and their two children. Dorothy has a surviving sister Helen with one daughter Jill Deppel, her husband Doug Deppel and their two boys John Deppel and and sister Elsie Chatel with a daughter Donna Chatel and son Cliff Chatel.
