Born in Seattle, Washington on August 6th, 1954, he is survived by his longtime soulmate Diana Teja, son Jess Osborne, sister Diane Kennish, niece Larissa Notter, Aunt Pat and Uncle Les Gee, Cousin David Gee, and Cousin Darin Gee.
Duane had a heart for helping people, being there on the spot to help you with whatever project you had going or something to be fixed. Over the years he worked as a boat mechanic and long-haul truck driver, overcoming several challenges along the way. He loved life, with a passion for fishing, cars, motorcycles, barbecuing and hanging out with close friends. He was upbeat and quick with the jokes, with one of his final caregivers commenting that “He’s a funny guy!” We will miss his engaging smile!
A closed casket visitation/service will be held on Saturday, October 16th, 2021 in Seattle, Washington at Evergreen Washelli Funeral Home with visitation at 10am, service at 11am, and graveside at noon. All are welcome.
Donations in Duane’s name can be made to Comprehensive Cancer Centers of Nevada.
