For the last year and a half Elise lived at a care facility in Washington state due to medical complications following a cardiac arrest in 2023. Elise was a devoted mother, a woman of unwavering faith, and a true light in the lives of all who knew her.
Elise was born in Ohio in 1962, grew up in Connecticut, and moved to California in 1987. After meeting her husband, Bruce Nacion, they moved to Hawaii in 1988, a place she grew to consider home. Elise was a beloved mother to three children, Nicholas Kamalina Nacion (S.O. Kielen Nacion), Naveh Keonimana Nacion, and Kaia Moani Nacion.
Elise lived a full and vibrant life, grounded in her devotion to God, service, and family. She dedicated much of her time to serving her community, homeschooling her children, and engaging with her various prayer groups. She touched many lives in all the positions and organizations she involved herself in. She loved her family dearly and for that, those closest to her are forever grateful.
A memorial service to honor Elise's life will be held on April 5, 2025, 1pm-4pm at Cornerstone Christian Fellowship Ministry Center (2053 152nd Ave NE Redmond, WA 98052).
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to:
The Genesis Project
Youth Eastside Services
The Voice of the Martyrs
The Samaritan’s Purse International Relief
Which were organizations important to Elise, as a way to honor the kindness and generosity she shared with the world.
Elise's warmth, humor, and faith will forever be cherished by all who were blessed to know her.
" E Ho’omaha me ka Maluhia, dear Elise. "
