Elsa Loura Schmidt

ELSA LAURA SCHMIDT passed away on Wednesday evening, March 25th in Tacoma, Washington. She was born March 18, 1914 in Windburne, Pa., but has been a resident in Tacoma area for the last two years and the Puget Sound region for the past twenty-seven Years. Elsa L. Schmidt was preceded in death by her husband Harold V. Schmidt of 63

years. She is survived by a sister, Glorean Sorensen of St. Paul, Minnesota, her son David H. Schmidt and wife Nikki, her grandson Micah, of Tacoma, a son Richard J. Schmidt and wife Eunice, of Lakewood, grandson Nathan and wife Tina, of Damascus, Oregon, two great grandsons Caleb and Isaac, a great granddaughter Taberah, a granddaughter Natalie and husband Tanner Dotzauer, of Thorp, Washington, a granddaughter Gretchen and husband Jamie Schillinger of Billings, Montana, great granddaughter Rory, a granddaughter Aundrea of Lakewood, Washington, and a daughter Barbara and husband David Wegener of Pompano Beach, Florida. Visitation will be held at Evergreen-Washelli Funeral Home, Bothell, Washington on Monday, March 30 at 9:00 AM. A memorial service will be held at Zion Lutheran Church, 3410 6th Ave., Tacoma, Washington, Sunday, March 29, 2009 at 3:30 PM.
