Evan Robert Davis, 31, passed away on August 29, 2022 in Seattle, Washington after a long battle with a rare blood disorder, paroxysmal nocturnal hemoglobinuria (PNH). He was born in Seattle on September 9, 1990 and was a lifelong Seattle resident.
He graduated from Nathan Hale High School in 2009 and worked as a marble mason for seven years on buildings in downtown Seattle and Bellevue. He later worked at UPS.
Inspired by his grandfather, Evan was a lifelong fisherman. He also developed a love of camping and outdoor activities as a Boy Scout and many years spent at Camp Parsons on Hood Canal. His happiest moments were fishing, clamming, crabbing, and hunting. He was also a fantastic cook, continually finding, improvising, and creating new recipes. He also enjoyed spending hours working on and driving his 1990 white “OJ” Ford Bronco.
Most of all, Evan was a beloved and loving father, son, brother, and friend. He treasured time spent with his daughter, Kaiya, and treasured his loyal friendships. His faithful blue heeler dog, Bandit, was also a constant companion who got him through tough times.
He is survived by his daughter, Kaiya Davis; father, Shannon Davis; mother, Terri Davis; brother, Colin Davis (Diane).
Memorial service will be held at Evergreen-Washelli Funeral Home, 11111 Aurora Ave N, Seattle, WA, Saturday, September 17, at 1:00. Refreshments following.
