Helen is survived by her 2 sons, Jerry (Carol) of Sweet Home, OR and Donn (Robin) of Twisp, WA; 2 daughters, Judy Harper of Lynnwood and Jan (Ron) Porter of Everett; as well as 12 grandkids, 17 great-grandkids, 2 sisters, a brother, and many special nieces and nephews.
Our Mom loved life. She retired as a waitress from the Bon Marche after 25 years. Her interests were the Mariners, camping, cooking, baking, planting flowers, and MOST of all waiting on family and friends. Her famous words were "what do you want to eat?" and "let me fix you something". She insisted on waiting on everyone. She loved her family, her grandkids and great-grandkids were everything, Dad and her loved going to all of their events.
Mom spent many hours of the day on the phone. She would call everybody numerous times asking "whatcha doing?" The phone was her lifeline. She would call us at work and say "come for lunch". Anyone could stop by unexpected anytime and she would whip up the best meal or dessert.
She was the best Mom, Grandma, and Great-Grandma. We all loved her and will miss her so much. Rest in peace, Mom!
