Born in Louisiana, he joined the Navy at 17 years old. Then later settled in Seattle with his wife Rachel of 66 years. His family of 4 daughters, 6 grandchildren, 8 great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews filled his heart. At the age of 87 he passed away peacefully at home with his loving family present. He was a patriotic and respectful man and always ready to help others when he could. He enjoyed camping, gardening, westerns, collecting belt buckles and eagles.
