Jacqueline Ruth Griffin

Jacqueline Ruth Griffin was welcomed home by her precious Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on July 29, 2023. She was born to Harold and Gwen Wilson on June 26, 1930 in Ellwood City, Pennsylvania. She grew up with her parents and two sisters in Washington State.

Jackie married Dewey W. Griffin with whom she shared two sons. She was active with Seattle Opera in her 30’s and has always enjoyed singing. After she and Dewey divorced, she returned to school and obtained her Associate Degree from Edmonds College.

Jackie was a devoted, fun, and loving mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. She interceded in prayer daily for her family and friends and loved to share God’s love with her dear ones. One of Jackie’s favorite Bible verses was Philippians 4:13 “I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me.” She would quote this scripture many times a day as she overcame pain and affliction due to her health. Her faith in Christ Jesus never wavered.

Jackie was preceded in death by her parents, Harold and Gwen Wilson, and her sisters Gwendolyn Bergen and Dorene Roppo. She is survived by her sons, Donald Griffin (June), Michael Griffin (Beverly), grandchildren Ryan Griffin (Michele), Kevin Griffin, Tiffany Griffin (David), Jennifer Griffin and great-granddaughters Paris, Penelope and Brooklyn Griffin.

She will be greatly missed by all those who knew her and loved her.
