To All in the Napoleon Family,
I would like to say how very sorry I am for your loss.

He was a loving, giving person, and I know he will be greatly missed.

I can remember being at a couple of his shows, and getting to do the hula with his dancers.  He and his whole group were very awesome.
I also remember the good times we had when he would have a Luau in the neighborhood, and all of us kids would get to help get ready for it.  Making poi, watching him get the pig ready, Etc.  
Many memories of him, and the whole family that I will never forget.

Growing up with your family, I have so many memories.  Going to a couple of his shows, getting to learn the hula from his dancers, getting
ready for the neighborhood luau, mixing the poi,watching him get the pigs ready to put in the ground, and so many things that will ever be forgotten.

Nappy will always be remembered as a very nice man who played an important part in our past which lead to our 35 years of marriage and two wonderful children. 
We will always remember the super great Hawaiian Luau that brought us together there in Mountlake Terrace back in the 60's and the many fun evening horseshoe games played in the back yard. If nice people could live forever Nappy would be older than the Universe.
Nappy will be truly missed!

There is many wonderful memories that I had with my grandfather that I will never forget.Your always in my heart papa and I love you 

I will always remember the good times we had working together at Merry Moving & the Hawaiian Luau's we did together. Whenever we hear 'Tiny bubbles' we think of Nappy.

To the family of Jimmy, I am very sorry for your loss.

I always enjoyed having Jimmy come into Leena's. He always put happiness into my days. I'll always remember him and his half a cup of coffee always wanting it hot.

Jimmy will be very missed at Leena's.

My Dearest Dad,
 I didn't always tell you how much you meant to me.You were always in my heart and thoughts no matter how much we argued. We didn't always see eye to eye but we always knew our love was strong. The last two months were hard for both of us.....but in the circle of life we both knew you took care of me and it was always my honor to be there for you. I will always cherish the time we had. The nights we had in the hospital...Not speaking a word to each other... I always felt the love you had for me. I will always love you.We needed no words. The thing I'm going to regret the most is not seeing or talking to you anymore. Inthe past few days I've been calling on you one more time... today I need you more than ever.My gift to you, dad, is to pass on the values and love you have shown me. Our family is blessed to have a father like you.

I could not have picked a better "father"."Father" are you listening to me?!!!!!" If I should go through life again I would pick a dad like you. I never told you how wonderful a father you were. You are the best. You'll be in my heart forever.

Dear Grandpa,
    I remember back when I was a kid,Almost everyweekend I was at your house with Jessica. You would make dinner or breakfast. You always made me fell welcome. When you had shows you always said I could go and ahng out with the girls. I had so much fun. I am so surprised you never told me to go home. You had to be sick of me!!!! I just want to thank you for being such a wonderful & caring grandpa. I always considered you one of my grandpa's. Thank you for sharing your home & life with me.

To me, grandpa is a quiet,assertive,well respected,and most of all greatly loved.
He probably had the biggest heart of any man I knew. I never realized grandpa had so many friends & family and to see the effect it has on everyone doesn't surprise me at all, I just wish I could have gotten to know him better.
My heart aches for all,but most to the immediate family & those who were closest to him, I can't fathem their pain, I can only imagine. Just try to keep in mind he is resting well now without the pain. My deepest thought's and feelings are with you.

Grandpa,  Never have I met a kinder more giving man. The Grandpa you were to my kids is something I'll never forget.  Kimo adored you, as well he should. We had some good times together.  Whenever I see the Huskies play I'll be thinking of you, we had good times you, I, and Kimo at the games. You were a n outstanding father to your kids, you definately went the extra mile for them. You'll be missed by all.  All great men are !

I'll lend you for a while little time a child of mine he said, for you to love the while, he lives and mourn for when he's dead it may be six or seven years or twenty two or three but will you till I call him back take care of him for me, he'll bring his charms to gladden you and should his stay be brief you'll have his lovely memories as solace for your grief, I cannot promise he will stay since all from earth return, but there are lessons taught down here I want this child to learn, I've looked this wide world  
over in my search for teachers true, and from the throngs that crowd lifes lanes I have selected you, now will you give him all your love and think the labor vain nor hate me when I come to call and take him back again, I fancied that I heard them say, dear lord thy will be done, for all the joy the child shall bring the risk of grief we'll run, we'll love him while we may and for happiness we've known forever
greatfull stay, but should the angels call for him much sooner than we planed we'll brave the bitter grief that comes, and try to understand

Nappy will be greatly missed, we'll miss the dinners with him, all the good food, and all the good laughs,he took us in as if we were his own, but thats how Nappy was, he loved and accepted everyone unconditonaly, espically his family, A Guardian Angel That Will Be Missed. today is 4 yrs since the passing of  our grandfather and it is still the hardest thing in the world to deal with , he is missed so much it is hard to discribe .Sometimes I feel you there holding me up on my feet and making sure that I'm doing good with the boys .You will never be forgotten ,you are always in my heart .Austin and all of the grandchildren love you very much and miss you 

Well Dad its the 4 year and its still not any easier.There is not a day that goes by that I don't think about you and miss you.Life was so much more pleasant when you where here. I love you

My grandfather James Napoleon was the best man in the world, he was a husband,father, grandfather,great grandfather, he was a provider and a friend. We all always wanted to make him proud and in so many ways we did. He taught me the ways of life and how to be responsible, He showed me how a survivor can conquer the reality of life and what it has to bring.And he was always the first person to pick us up when we were down and he never hesitated to lend a helping hand. I remember how beautiful his voice sounded when sang and how he loved to express himself through his music. One of my fondest memories was when Destry & I got a chance to be apart of that, when we started in his band the Tiki Lights. In the years to follow we learned more and more about our culture and if it wasn't for him we would not have knowen what we do today. He made a big difference to all of us and we all love him so much for that. So today instead of all of us being here to say good-bye we are all here to say Thank you for everything you have done.
We love and miss you very much.

To The Napoleon Family,

    I am so sorry to hear of your loss, not just for the family, but for everyone. Mr Napoleon touched so many lives, all of which I am sure he left as fond of memories as I have of him. Some of which go all the way back to my childhood when I would wake up in the morning after staying the night with Frances only to hear him in the kitchen making breakfast and singing Hawaiian songs, to the days of him running the youth orginization that was established for under privledged kids in the Mountlake Terrace area and the great Luau's we would have for fund raisers. A very wonderful full of life person to have had the pleasure to know and grow up with. Rest in peace Mr. Napoleon, I will remember you always.

Today is the day we all really remember our grandfather ,husband,great grandfather, father the man that showed all of us the light of the path.He will always be in our hearts and in our prayers. We all miss you and keep playing those slot machines.
