Jean C. Anderson, 89, spent most of her life in Magnolia after relocating from Minnesota in the 1940s. She was known for her generosity, kindness, and unwavering willingness to give her time to others. A passionate reader and avid knitter, Jean’s most recent project involved creating quirky, colorful hats that she generously gifted to others. Sweet and full of charm, she had a delightful quirkiness about her.
Jean was also known for her redundancy—her motto was, "If you need one, you need more than one." If there was research to be done, Jean was always your go-to person. Her love for animals, particularly her many cats, was boundless, and they were like family to her. Jean lived with her parents for many years, and together, they created a warm and welcoming home for all who visited.
Always ready to help others, Jean was beloved by all who knew her. She is survived by her niece, nephew, and their families. Though she will be deeply missed, we take comfort in knowing that Jean is likely surrounded by the cats and wildlife she so adored, just as she always wished.
