John lived in the Northwest much of his adult life. He loved hiking in the woods and along the ocean, always sharing photos of the natural beauty he enjoyed there. His love of painting and making music filled his free time. John was working for Heritage Bank at the time of his death.
He will be sorely missed by all who loved him—his family and his Seattle “friend family.” The spirit of his warm smile, his deep resonant voice, his love of the arts and his deep appreciation of the earthly beauty that surrounded him will live on with us all.
John’s cremains will be buried at the St. Francis Xavier Cemetery in Jerseyville IL alongside his parents. The internment will be private given the current COVID restrictions.
