He is survived by his sons John Frederick Maier, III and his wife Jeanne, Gary Edward Hays and his wife Linda; five grandchildren and nine great grandchildren. Viewing will be held Sunday, December 17, 2000 from 9AM to 9PM. Memorial service will be held on Monday, December 18, 2000 at 2PM, Evergreen-Washelli Funeral Home, 11111 Aurora Avenue North, Seattle.
